Police looking for drunk man who tried to break watch shop window in Lan Kwai Fong and failed miserably

At around 2am on Monday morning, a drunk man of approximately 30 years of age allegedly tried to break the window of a luxury watch shop on D’Aguilar Street, near the heart of Lan Kwai Fong.

Perhaps in a bid to acquire one of Hubot’s fancy watches, the man took a flowerpot (one of those government-installed ones that hang on street railings) and tried to smash a window, reports Apple Daily.

Unsurprisingly, the high-end store had windows designed to sustain more than a drunkenly thrown flowerpot, and the glass was left relatively unscathed, save for a dent and some dirt.

The store’s security guards tried to apprehend the man but he ran away. Seriously though, who can’t catch a drunk man running?

The police are investigating the case.

One thing’s for sure: that dude had a pretty awful Monday at work.
