While many slept last night, at least one person didn’t, instead they stole a double decker bus, drove it more than 10 kilometers and then smashed it into a roundabout before fleeing the scene.

Police are hunting a suspect after finding a heavily damaged KMB bus near the Kwai Tsing container terminal about 3:30am this morning, reported Apple Daily.

According to the newspaper, the bus, found empty and abandoned on Container Terminal South Road, was stolen from a bus terminus in Wong Tai Sin.

The GPS system of the bus showed it had done several laps of the container terminal prior to crashing into the concrete roundabout.
