Passersby in Yuen Long bore witness to a bloody family feud yesterday, when a fight between brothers turned ugly as the younger of the pair lunged repeatedly at his sibling with a pair of scissors.

The confrontation — which  was caught on video  (we warn you, it’s pretty graphic) — erupted at the Long Ping Estate about about 5pm and saw the elder of the siblings, 32, taken to hospital with stab wounds to his face.

According to Ming Pao, the pair, surnamed Wong, had agreed to meet at the location.

The dispute, the outlet reported,  began after the elder Wong told his brother’s girlfriend some “bad things” which the younger Wong, 20, was not happy about.

According to Apple Daily, he blamed his younger brother’s girlfriend, a 20-year-old surnamed Kwong, for “a trivial matter”.

Neighbours posted videos of the incident online, which shows the younger Wong — who has a pony tail and is wearing a white a black jacket — punching his older brother several times in the face.

In between blows, the elder Wong — whose face is covered in blood — can be heard yelling “call the police! Are you crazy? I’m your brother”, “I’m about to die”, and “you want to kill someone?”.

Kwong can be heard yelling at her boyfriend to stop, and at one point tries to restrain her boyfriend.

Police arrived at the scene shortly afterwards and retrieved a pair of scissors that were about 16 centimeters long.

They arrested the younger brother on suspicion of wounding.

The elder brother was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable.
