Police appeal for information on 32-year-old cyclist found dead in reservoir

Yesterday evening, a fatal cycling accident took place at Castle Peak in which a 32-year-old man died.

At around 7:55pm, a passerby reported to the police that he found an abandoned bicycle near Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, and was concerned that an accident might have occurred.

The 32-year-old man was later found and retrieved by firemen from the reservoir, and confirmed dead at the scene.

Police and the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are currently appealing for more information about the accident.
