An anaesthesiologist at the Queen Mary Hospital, James Chiang Chi-sum (34) was found guilty to one charge of behaving in a disorderly manner and one charge of resisting a police officer.
The now suspended from duty doctor will be sentenced in January for following a female student and filming up her skirt at the junction of West End Lane and Bonham Road. He was caught by two plain clothes police officers and tried to flee the scene when he was noticed.
When Chiang was caught, police found three cameras in his bag with the zip open, the film of the female students underwear, and memory cards containing upskirt images of other women.
Chiang said he has been mentally unstable after his mother was involved in a traffic accident, and he was taking care of his parents at their house without his wife. The magistrate, however, thinks it’s not the first time he has been taking upskirt photos, he just never got caught, and that a doctor should not behave like he did.
