The Quality HealthCare Medical Center at the Tsing Yi MTR station has been blocked off to isolate a patient who allegedly displayed symptoms of MERS, reports Apple Daily.
The area surrounding the center was barred by metal blockades at 1 p.m. today. Medical workers in protective wear and police officers have arrived at the scene.
A security guard also told passersby not to linger around for long to avoid the “infectious disease.”
The area remains blocked off.
