Disgusting photos of feces and toilet paper spread all over the walls, ceiling, floor and bed of what is believed to be an isolation facility in Hong Kong are making the rounds on social media.

According to a user who posted the images on a Facebook group, which roughly translates as Hong Kong Anti-epidemic Concern Group, the photos were taken in a unit of Queen’s Hill Estate — a newly completed public rental housing development, which has been converted into a COVID-19 isolation facility for infected people.

“It’s so terrifying, turns out that the mental state of those in isolation camps will become like this,” said the user.

Many Facebook users condemned the actions of the person staying in the unit, saying he or she should be punished.

“This is so inconsiderate. The cleaning staff are innocent,” said one user.

But others raised concerns over the mental state of the person under isolation, saying he or she might be under immense pressure or has psychiatric issues.
