Unlicensed bars hidden in commercial buildings have been found to open their doors up to noon time, offering drugs to white-collar workers during lunch hour, many of whom are office ladies and managers. Four such bars were found to sell drugs after undercover police was sent to investigate.
These bars give out free drugs to ladies to attract customers, in the hopes that they will try it and get hooked, and are open from midnight to 2pm in the afternoon. Office workers have visited these bars during their lunch hour to take drugs, but such bars’ busiest hours are from midnight to 4 or 5am. Police officers said that professionals such as bankers and insurance managers take drugs to relax from long working hours and stress. Ketamine and cocaine were among some of the drugs seized.
