Ocean Park is set to hire 2,000 part-time workers for its Halloween events at the amusement park.
The number of staff looking to be hired is 33 percent more than last year and is said to facilitate the increased number of attractions arranged for the Halloween celebrations held throughout Oct. this year.
Performers hired will be at attractions like scary haunted houses, parades and photo areas and paid hourly rates ranging from HK$45 to HK$140.
A Park spokesperson told The Standard that anyone who is outgoing, cheerful, looking to have fun will be right for the job. Of course those with experience in performing arts or skills in gymnastic, extreme sports or stunts would be a bonus. Hired workers will then be given training at the park’s scare academy.
