Ocean Park has hired an overseas safety consultant to review the design of its Halloween attraction this year following last year’s fatal accident.
The announcement comes one year after a man died after he was hit by a coffin in one of the park’s Halloween attractions.
According to the Hong Kong Economic Times, Ng said the park would also strengthen crowd control measures and improve staff training to ensure the safety of park guests and employees.
Ocean Park’s Halloween Fest 2018 will open to the public on October 5 until October 31, and there’s expected to be a number of virtual reality-themed attractions as well as a multimedia and interactive haunted house.
Tickets are HK$860 for adults and HK$430 for children.
