Stunning double rainbow spotted in Hong Kong after mild typhoon (PHOTOS)

Following the fine, sunny weather over the weekend, we’re sure quite a few Coconauts were put out when the Observatory said we could be hit by a typhoon.

A typhoon signal number one was hoisted between 8:45am and 11:20pm yesterday, during which Hong Kong saw periods of sunny weather interspersed with showers, moderate winds, and thunderstorms.

The brief lashings of wind and rain ended up paying off, however, as a rare and beautiful double rainbow was seen across various parts of Hong Kong in the late afternoon. Here it is in Wan Chai:

And even in mid-air!

So far, we haven’t seen any photos of the elusive rainbow in Choi Hung, but we can only hope.
