North Korea’s Dear Leader shows up at Occupy Central just in time for Halloween

Occupy Central had a special Halloween visitor last Friday: Kim Jong-un, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Ok, not really. But close enough!

Hong Kong’s most famous Kim Jong-un impersonator, a 35-year-old Australian Hongkonger named Howard, showed up to give occupiers in Admiralty a morale boost, attracting global media attention. (It is, after all, perhaps the most exciting thing that’s happened to Occupy Central in a while.)

Check out this Reuters video of his visit. It’s rather trippy to see Kim Jong-un speaking English… in an Australian accent.

Tom Grundy, the man behind HongWrong.com, was also there to document the frivolous sight of the Supreme Leader checking out the Lennon Wall:

All hail the Supreme Leader!
