Many speed dating companies are now refusing applications from ladies aged 35 and up, explaining that since there are few men of that age group participating, it is impossible to find dates for them.
One mature lady goes as far as to call a dating company once a month only to be refused again and again.
One organiser, Jacky, said that that ladies aged between 36-39 only want to date men aged between 40-45. But since men of this age are at the prime of their lives, they are only interested in much younger women, in the hopes of starting a family. We think that’s ridiculous, since plenty of women are capable of having children in their late 30s.
Comparatively, women in their 40s are having a much easier time at the dating game since they don’t mind dating men 50 and up, or whether they will marry and have kids.
