A dead baby’s body was discovered on the ground-floor female toilet at Ruttonjee Hospital’s accident and emergency department this morning.
A cleaner was called to clean the toilet which was blocked. When the cleaner arrived to try and unblock the toilet, she found a premature newborn body and called the authorities.
The police are unsure whether the baby was a boy or a girl and are carrying out further investigation.
