Have you seen Aladdin? On June 7 the poor spotted mutt was seen heading towards Kowloon in the Cross Harbour Tunnel after first getting separated from his owner on May 22 in Braemar Hill.
According to Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR), the organisation from which the dog was adopted, “staff did nothing to stop his progress and did not notify anybody”.

“Instead they just let him wander through and shooed him away when he got to the Hung Hom exit.”
Apparently a taxi passenger spotted Aladdin and HKDR was only notified about the sighting on Tuesday.
“Is this really the correct way to deal with stranded animals who may cause a danger to the public?” asked a post on HKDR’s Facebook page.
A HKD20,000 reward is now being offered for the capture and safe return of Aladdin, while HKD1,000 is being offered for a confirmed sighting with a photo.
