Cockroach and rats aside, there’s no denying Hong Kong’s back alleys are full of life.
Setting out to prove exactly that, YouTuber GForceMedia Rich sent Coconuts HK his latest project documenting the forgotten arteries that feed Hong Kong’s best-known streets.
Seamlessly edited together as if never ending, the Hong Kong’s alleys in this short film vary spectacularly.
Some are abandoned, some are bustling; some are filled with flowers, others with graffiti; some provide a shortcut for suited city workers, while others host welly-wearing wet market workers on their break.
All, however, are quintessentially Hong Kong.
