Netizens stage mass pooping at Harbour City to protest mainland behaviour

After several public protests by angry Hongkongers at mainland tourists and increasing tension between the mainland and Hong Kong, the latest protest featured HK netizens gathering at tourist hotspot Harbour City, where they pretended to poop on newspapers in mockery of mainland parents who let their children relieve themselves in public places.

According to the Apple Daily, dozens of protestors in Maoist caps, with fake poop, spread out newspapers at Harbour City, squatting and pretending to poop, even inviting the children of mainland tourists present at the mall to participate in the public “pooping” activity. Whilst the activity was going on, Zara had to close down their shop to avoid the protest.
