Naked man seen on MTR, manages to ride train for 7 stops (VIDEO)

MTR riders on their way to work could have probably skipped their morning coffee, since they likely got quite the wake up call when they came across a completely naked man.

The fully nude individual was seen loitering around the Yau Tong station shortly before 7am, reports Apple Daily.

Concerned passengers informed MTR staff about the man, who was hanging around near the platform.

A staff member asked him to stop moving, but the naked man paid no heed to his words and continued with his day. The only thing the helpless worker could do was hand him a large towel so that he could cover himself up.

To their dismay, the man rushed onto the train when it arrived. The worker had no choice but to escort the man onto the train, making sure he did not get into any additional trouble as he conducted his journey.

They rode it one stop to Yau Tong, where the man then switched to the purple line and rode the train to its final stop at North Point.

Apple Daily reports that passengers remained calm at the sight of the disrobed man, but that’s probably because they didn’t even bother to look up from their phones.

The unclothed traveler then got back on the same line going in the opposite direction, ending up in LOHAS Park, where he was perhaps able to find the answer to the question we’ve always wondered: what the hell does LOHAS stand for?

There, he was finally convinced to sit down and end his naked commute.

Forty minutes after the man was first reported to MTR staff, the police finally arrived on the scene.

The mysterious MTR rider was identified as a 46-year-old man surnamed Chen.

The police said that he has a history of mental illness. He was sent to hospital for treatment.
