47-year-old Zeng Guomei admitted today at the Court of First Instance for attempting to murder her 12-year-old daughter.
Zeng, who suffers from schizophrenia, told the court that she asked her daughter to climb on her back so she could carry her on Jun. 12, 2013. When her daughter was on her back she dropped her off a footbridge in Tsuen Wan and then jumped off the bridge herself.
The drop from the footbridge was about 9 meters, so both suffered multiple injuries, reports the SCMP.
