With our S.A.R. establishment day, Canada Day, and the American Independence Day all occurring in the same week, cultural appropriation has never been more valid of an excuse for binge eating and drinking.
This year, Hong Kong’s Fourth of July celebrations will include a party jointly hosted by Stone Nullah Tavern and Little Burro.
The two restaurants promise to bring you the “real American party experience,” which roughly translates to barbecued food and lots and lots of booze.
For HKD550, you’ll get to enjoy Stone Nullah Tavern’s fried chicken, slow-cooked honey glazed ribs, burgers, hot dogs, and all that other American fare. Little Burro will also be serving their signature tacos, just to throw in a little diversity.
After all, the U.S. is a nation of immigrants, right, Mr. Trump?
On the drinks side, there’ll be free-flow margaritas, whisky smash, ice lemontini, PBRs, and much more.
The party will take place at Stone Nullah Tavern from 1pm to 5pm, after which, their Beat the Clock Happy Hour (where drinks start at HKD1 and double up every 20 minutes until 7pm!!), will polish you off nicely.
Free-flow food and drinks? Sounds like a ‘murican day!
