More chairs being thrown off buildings in Hong Kong

A man was arrested today suspected to have thrown chairs off a building in Yau Tong this morning at around 9am.

This follows the incident that happened Tuesday when a man threw an office chair off the rooftop of a building on Sai Yeung Choi street that struck a passerby and killed him.

Today’s incident happened at Ko Cheung Court, Ko Lun House when a security guard noticed a folding chair and two plastic chairs being thrown from a height from the building.

When police arrived, they seized five chairs found, and interviewed residents in the area before arresting a 22-year-old man living in a unit in the building. The 22-year-old suspect is reported to have a history of mental illnesses, reports the Oriental Daily.

Luckily noone was injured in today’s incident.
