There are now more billionaires in Greater China than the United States. According to the founder of the Huran Gobal Rich List, there are 263 billionaires in the mainland, 64 more than last year. Hong Kong comes at No. 4 with 218 billionaires. But another report, the UBS Wealth-X, claims that the United States still takes top place with 515 billionaires.
Considering the vastly disproportionate amount of people in poverty in Greater China as well, we don’t think that’s anything to be proud of, do we?
