Minibus driver attacked by knifeman

At around 11am this morning a 41-year-old minibus driver was attacked by a knifeman and suffered three cuts to his body, reports the Oriental Daily.

The attack happened on Pak Tai Street and Mau Tau Kok road minibus station when a hooded man in black boarded the minibus and punctured the driver three times with his eight-inch long knife. The attack took about two minutes before the hooded man fled the scene on a taxi.

The minibus driver suffered knife wounds of about 15cm long and was sent to hospital for treatment as soon as he was able to call for help.

Police are investigating the attack.
