About 500,000 packets of Vita Lemon Tea has been called back by the distributor as complaints have been received about the taste of 250ml boxes of lemon tea with the expiry date of Dec. 22 and 27, 2014.
Apparently the distributor was told of the unusual taste found in these batches of lemon tea, and had recalled its products secretly. It was not until yesterday, that Vita issued a press release stating that they will be recalling its products. They also reiterated that although the taste is different, it is completely safe to drink.
Recollection of Vita lemon tea will take place from Feb. 19 to 28 and customers can also call Vita’s provided hotline number +852 2468 9654.
