It seems like an army of mice have invaded the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)!
Students noticed ginormous mice, larger than the size of a human palm, at PolyU’s new teaching block. The mice were seen skirting up and down the stairs and chewing at rubbish bins.
The invasion of these small rodents have gotten teachers and students worried about the campus’ hygiene – some suspect the mice are coming from an open trench near the campus.
A PolyU spokesperson said the university is very concerned about the issue and has hired professionals to mitigate the mice problem.
