A 64-year-old man is currently being charged for animal cruelty for killing a dog that caused his wife’s foot injury.
The man is reported to have been a civil servant for 26 years and has been living with his wife in Yuen Long since retiring and becoming a school bus driver. The two often goes for walks in the morning but one day when his wife was cycling she was frightened by a stray dog , fell, and injured her foot. She’s still in recovery.
To seek revenge for his wife, the man added poison to chicken meat and placed it outside of the house where the stray dog lived. The dog died but the man returned later on bringing more poisonous chicken meat to kill the other dogs. Neighbours noticed the man and the police managed to hunt him down.
