Man pulled over for dangerous driving in Hong Kong, crashes into police car

A 31-year-old driver learned the hard way that he may have removed his provisional “P” plates too early yesterday morning.

At 1am yesterday, a police officer pulled over the driver, surnamed Chung, when he noticed he had not switched the headlights of his seven-seater vehicle on while driving on Tsing Long Highway, Apple Daily reports.

At this point, Chung starts to come off as an “all or nothing” kind of guy, because he bypassed the simple fine he would have received for the infraction and apparently crashed right into the back of the police car that have parked in front on him. Ugh, what an overachiever.

Chung, who is reported to have removed his P plates only two months ago, was taken to hospital for a sprained neck. The police officer was not reported to have any serious injuries.
