MTR services on the Tseung Kwan O Line were briefly suspended this morning after a man leapt out of the emergency exit at the end of an MTR train and onto the tracks between Lohas Park and Tiu Keng Leng stations.
Oriental Daily gave the man’s age as around 50, and said that his escape had been noticed by a train captain at approximately 10.44am.
MTR’s service update pages stated that there were “minor delays” caused by a “trespasses [sic]” at Lohas Park at 10.58am, which were reported as resolved by 11.08am.
The man, who is said to have suffered head injuries, was rushed to the hospital.
Police are investigating the reason why he broke onto the MTR rails in the first place.
