A 23-year-old man was killed and one of his passengers is in a critical condition after the seven-seater car he was driving crossed into the opposite lane of the highway and crashed into an oncoming truck. Two other passengers in the car were also injured.
Yeung, the driver, and his friends had been drinking at a barbecue in Sheung Shui Ho Sheung Heung before the accident. He decided to leave the barbecue with three friends and go to the ATM despite people at the party urging him not to drive.
Yeung had only recently returned to Hong Kong to take over the family business after graduating from a UK university, reports Apple Daily.
