Man jailed for 4 weeks for attacking RTHK reporter during Occupy protests

A 56-year-old man named So Si-kit has been sentenced to four weeks in jail for injuring Mak Ka-wai, a video journalist for RTHK.

So pleaded guilty earlier this month, reports RTHK.

The attack occurred during last year’s pro-democracy protests in Mong Kok.

Mak sustained injuries to his face in the incident.

Last year, Coconuts Multimedia Director Alexander Hotz was punched while filming in Mong Kok.
