A 58-year-old man was killed in Tsuen Wan yesterday after he was run over by his own truck.
According to the police, the man parked the light goods vehicle on a slope on Route Twisk at around 3.45pm before alighting and standing directly behind it.
The van apparently rolled backwards and ran the man over.
He was taken to Yan Chai hospital around 45 minutes later in an unconscious state and with serious leg injuries.
He was certified dead at the hospital.
The Special Investigation Team of Traffic for New Territories South are appealing for witnesses.
