A 46-year-old man involved in a suspected attack and robbery in Sham Shui Po was admitted into hospital last night while the police investigate his claims.
The man was found by police officers, who arrived after being alerted by a resident in a Kweilin Street building that the man had injured himself in a stairwell, reports Sing Tao Daily.
He reportedly told the police that he was hit on the head and robbed of a mobile phone by a woman in the stairwell.
However, the man was said to have been arguing with a “knife-wielding” woman at a massage parlour inside the building before apparently running barefoot out of the shop into a stairwell, where he apparently tripped over and hit his head. Ouch.
The woman who was implicated in the incident was not in the parlour when police visited, according to the paper.
The police are investigating the case.
