Yesterday at around 4am, security guards at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Admiralty found a man who was not a guest wandering on the 54th floor, reports Apple Daily.
The man, surnamed Chen, proceeded to climb over the railing, falling to the garden on the 41st floor.
The police spoke to his wife, who said Chen had been battling pneumonia for a long time.
A spokesman for the hotel offered his condolences, adding that they will be providing assistance to the family of the deceased.
