Man, 59, dies after getting crushed between two flatbed trucks in Chai Wan

Yesterday, a 59-year-old man was killed when he was crushed between two flatbed trucks on Kut Shing Street in Chai Wan.

The man, surnamed Lin, worked as a driver and was standing in between two parked trucks helping to unload goods.

Unbelievably, the crane of the truck behind him got hooked onto the shipping container of a truck that was driving past.

The two trucks were pulled together, crushing the man.

He was certified dead at the scene.

Both the driver of the container truck and of the parked flatbed truck were arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

Lin, who lived in Tsing Yi with his family, is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son, reports Apple Daily
