Man, 52, dies after getting hit by lorry at Hong Kong airport freight terminal

Yesterday, a 52-year-old man was killed when he was knocked down by a lorry inside the loading area of an air freight terminal on Chun Wan Road, near Hong Kong International Airport.

The lorry’s driver, a 42-year-old man, was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and was detained for questioning.

The victim, who sustained serious head injuries, was rushed to North Lantau Hospital. He was certified dead at 12:15pm, over an hour after he was hit.

On Wednesday, a French man died at the airport after he jumped to his death.
