Man, 26, dead after girlfriend, 48, allegedly stabs him in Wong Tai Sin

A 26-year-old man died yesterday afternoon after getting into a domestic dispute with his 48-year-old girlfriend at their home in Wong Tai Sin.

The deceased would have turned 27 next Saturday, reports Apple Daily.

The man met the woman, who is divorced, two years ago. She soon moved into his home on the 12th floor of Choi Wan Estate to live with him and his family.

At around 3:20pm yesterday it is believed that the two got into a dispute, with each holding knives.

The man, after sustaining stab wounds to the left and right sides of his chest, ran out of the house to the elevator lobby, crying for help.

The woman initially ran after him, but went back inside the apartment.

The police arrived to the scene after receiving a report from neighbours, and found the man lying unconscious on the ground with a six-inch fruit knife next to him.

They then broke down the door to their apartment and found the woman also lying unconscious on the ground with a bloodied cleaver next to her.

The injured couple was sent to hospital.

The man was declared dead at United Christian Hospital at 4:35pm.

The Wong Tai Sin district crime squad is still investigating the case.
