A 25-year-old fitness trainer died earlier today after he fell from a Central skyscraper during a photo shoot.

The incident took place at around 9am today. The man, surnamed Kong, was photographing two models on the 12th-floor terrace of 9 Li Yuen Street East in Central. He was found unconscious on the 4th-floor terrace and certified dead on the scene by paramedics.

Initial police investigation has not suggested there were any suspicious circumstances around Kong’s death. Apple Daily reports that the 25-year-old is believed to have climbed onto a narrow railing to take photos and lost his footing.

Kong, who attended South Island School in Hong Kong before going to the UK for university, had been working as a trainer for four years. He had won prizes at multiple bodybuilding competitions, including last year’s Mr. Olympia Amateur Hong Kong, and most recently at the Macau Global Classic Invitational on Tuesday.
