While most may experience mild frustration when finding out a store doesn’t sell the thing they were looking for, one customer at an IKEA on the mainland, to put it mildly, lost her shit.
Why? The IKEA, sell did not, umbrellas.
According to Sing Tao Daily — citing a report from Qilu Evening News — police had to be called to the store in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, to settle the ensuing violent altercation between the woman and staff.
According to the newspaper, the incident happened at around noon on Saturday.
Video of the fight posted online shows the woman at the checkout counter in a shouting match with the store’s security guard before slapping him.

Other customers started stepping in calling on the woman to stop, to which she responds: “Whoever comes forward I will hit them too!”
In the video she can be seen hitting another woman with a backpack who steps in to intervene, while a male customer in the background can be heard going “who said you’re allowed to hit people?”
Police apprehended the woman at the store and took her back to the police station for further investigation.
Officers also contacted the woman’s family, who took her out of the police station and confirmed that she had some emotional problems.
