Armed with what looks to be a trusty screwdriver, the young man furiously stabbed at the glass to free the object of his desire, with CCTV footage posted online showing what appeared his night’s quest.
According to People’s Daily — which posted the video on its Weibo account on Sunday — this particular break-in at the adult vending machine took place at 9pm on Friday, September 7 at a mall in the city of Yanjiang in Guangdong province.

But, alas, he’s not the only one with his eyes on an inflatable prize.
The state-run newspaper reported that this is the third time this specific vending machine has been broken into. Three’s a trend right?
Mainland netizens likened the theft to “prince charming rescuing his princess” or “a man trying to be reunited with his girlfriend.”
Less romanic netizens, meanwhile, deployed descriptors such a “pervert.” Others questioned his purchasing power.
