We’ve pretty much all forgotten to do our homework as kids and found ourselves scrambling to complete it on the bus or train ride to school. But how many of you have done your homework on the back of a motorbike?
Video of one girl doing just that has been making the rounds online this week.
In the short clip — posted to a Weibo account called Pear Video, which shares viral videos from around the world — the girl can be seen sitting with her back against the driver and using the bike’s luggage compartment as a makeshift desk.
In the background, a male can be heard saying “she’s doing her homework, that’s a bit strict,” as the bike swerves between vehicles.
According to the captions on the video, it was filmed in the city of Nanning in the Guangxi region, near the border with Vietnam.
It is not clear exactly when the video was filmed, but news outlets in the mainland only started picking up on it this week.
While most comments were of the “that’s really dangerous” or “homework is important, but safety comes first” ilk, at least one person felt the need to top the girl’s experience.
“When I was in high school, I saw my classmate do his homework while riding a bicycle!”
