A 30-year-old lorry driver was arrested yesterday after hitting a 62-year-old woman on Wang Hoi Road in Kowloon Bay.
The woman was knocked to the ground and severely injured in the collision, but thankfully the lorry stopped with its front tyre only centimetres away from her head, reports Apple Daily.
She was immediately rushed to hospital, where she is currently in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
The delivery truck driver was arrested for “dangerous driving causing harm”.
