Social Democrats lawmaker, Leung Kwok-hung aka Long Hair, has been refused bail by the Court of Final Appeal.
On Monday, Leung was sentenced to four weeks in jail for three charges of criminal damage and behaving in a disorderly manner in public during a protest at a public forum in Sept. 2011.
Leung who is currently serving his sentence, seen today without his signature long locks, is challenging both his convictions and sentence.
Leung’s lawyer claims to seek the Commissioner of Correctional Services to exercise discretion to allow Leung to attend various Legco meetings, reports the RTHK.
