Is UK street artist Banksy Tweeting about Hong Kong kids’ beach art?

A Twitter account going by the handle of @therealbanksy has Tweeted a photo of art created by Hong Kong children as part of Ocean Appreciation Month.

The only problem is that the aerial photo of children stood in the shape of a dolphin at Repulse Bay Beach is from LAST YEAR’S event.

Come on Banksy. We know you’re old now, but try and keep up with the kids, will you?

Posted yesterday by the “fan account” – which has 1.28 million followers – the photo has already garnered more than 3,000 retweets and almost 6,000 favourites.

Maybe next year the famed street artist will Tweet the 2015 Ocean Alliance aerial piece – a big sad fish created with the bodies of more than 900 school children.

Beat you to it, Banksy.
