British singer and songwriter, Kashy Keegan, flew to Hong Kong to perform at the government headquarters in Tamar, Admiralty in support of Hong Kong Television Network protestors Friday evening.
Keegan performed This Is My Dream, the song chosen for the 2012 London Summer Olympics and told protestors to continue chasing their dream and not to give up as one day dreams will become reality.
Next Media reports that Keegan was a struggling singer and songwriter for over 13 years before he wrote This Is My Dream. His dream was for his songs to be able to touch and inspire others. Keegan’s dream came true when his song was chosen as the London 2012 Summer Olympics theme song.
After his open support for HKTV and performance in Hong Kong, This Is My Dream has become the number 1 song on the Hong Kong iTunes chart.
