According to Forbes, in 2014 we see 1,645 billionaires all over the world. Bill Gates is back at first place this year, after four years of dropping down the ranks. Amancio Ortega, Spanish clothing retailer famous for owning Zara, stays in third for the second year, while Warren Buffett is ranked fourth.
About 45 Hongkongers made the list, with three in top 35 spots – Li Ka Shing is the 20th richest person in the world with US$31 billion, Lui Che Woo is ranked 28th with US$22 billion and Lee Shau Kee makes spot 35 with US$19.6 billion.
