People living around the Kowloon City Ferry Pier were pretty peeved this morning when they were awoken by an illegal fireworks display at 3am.
Miss Ho, who lives in the nearby Wyler Gardens, told Apple Daily that the fireworks lasted for about half a minute.
The police received several calls about the case, and firefighters arrived at the scene to investigate. They found a box of 100 used fireworks.
Apparently, some jerk lit them and ran away to give people a surprise Chinese New Year celebration.
