KMB bus driver seen on depot roof after allegedly getting fired

Earlier today, a bus driver for KMB was seen standing on the roof of the company’s depot in Tuen Mun, after she was allegedly fired from her job.

A 56-year-old KMB worker surnamed Tam saw the driver, surnamed Chan, standing on the roof at around 7am, HK01 reports. Fearing that Chan intended on committing suicide, Tam called the police, rushed to the scene.

Officers tried to talk Chan down as firefighters inflated a safety cushion under the building. At around 8:20am, Chan returned to safety and was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for a medical examination.

Police said they did not detect any suspicious circumstances.
