Letting your dog stick its head out of the car window is pretty much socially acceptable, but when it comes to young children…apparently, not so much.
Hong Kong netizens were shocked this week when pictures circulated on the internet of a young boy having the time of his life with his delicate little head and tiny little shoulders stuck out of the sunroof of a Mercedes Benz.
And the Father of the Year Award goes to…
Photos of the incident were taken by concerned witnesses, who promptly uploaded them to social media and called on the police to arrest the driver.
According to a report in Apple Daily, some commentators called the driver “brain dead”, and accused him of “playing with life”. Fair enough.
Commenting on the incident, chairman of the Institute of the Motor Industry Hong Kong, Ringo Lee, said the boy was violating the law by not wearing a seat belt, and that the car owner would not receive insurance pay if an accident occurred.
That settles it then. This is not a good idea!
