Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll sure did embrace the spirit of Hong Kong this weekend, popping his Sevens cherry with a casual spot of crowd surfing, as you do.
Ireland’s most capped player and record try-scorer was snapped in what looks to be one of the official after party tents, riding like a boss above a sea of adoring fans/totally pissed off people.
O’Driscoll told AFP before he began his role as an ambassador for the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens (that’s right, he was “working”), “I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like. I’ve heard so many great things about the Sevens”.
His long suffering wife Amy Huberman seemed suitably unimpressed but unsurprised.
