Husband and ex-husband engage in public fight over woman at Hong Kong MTR station

Who needs soap operas when you have people happy to air their dirty laundry, very loudly, at Hong Kong MTR stations?

Commuters at Kowloon Tong Station were treated to a real life drama last Thursday when a woman and her new mainland husband seemingly bumped into her ex-husband.

According to Sing Tao Daily, the ex-husband, surnamed Ip, began shouting about how his wife, surnamed Law, left him and their son to hook up with the current husband.

Ip reportedly slapped Law in the face before grabbing her phone and smashing it on the floor.

This video, taken by one of Hong Kong’s ever-concerned citizens, apparently starts when the mainland man decided it was his time to act.

He’s seen repeatedly swinging his bag at his woman’s former squeeze.

Eventually several MTR staff members show up on the scene, which, to be fair, doesn’t really help at all – especially when one random passerby seems to get shoved, starting a new fight within a fight.

According to reports, the police eventually showed up and arrested both men for public disturbance.

Ip was also charged with common assault and property damage.
